Ease of use and portability earn consecutive Reality’s Choice Awards for Progeny’s Micro and MicroPlus Intraoral Cameras

Buffalo Grove, IL—April 5, 2004—Progeny Dental took away top honors for the second year in a row for its intraoral cameras at the Reality Publishing awards held during the 2004 Chicago Midwinter Dental meeting. The cameras had also earned a 5-Star Reality’s Choice award in 2003.

The Micro and Micro Plus Intraoral cameras passed performance tests at the top of their category for use in an operatory environment. The multi-function handpiece with focus and capture capability and the lightweight nature of the cameras earned special mention.

In addition to image capture and focus buttons located directly on the camera hand piece, the Micro and MicroPlus feature Sony CCD technology and a halogen light source for high resolution, true color imaging. Also unique to the Micro Camera line is an economical multi-operatory docking module that eliminates the need for large docking stations and makes the camera extremely easy to move from operatory to operatory. The cameras can be used with a PC or as a stand alone system displaying images to a TV monitor.
