John McDonough - Chairman John is a well-known presence to those in the medical and dental industries. In 1983, he founded GENDEX Corporation and built it into the leading U.S. manufacturer of dental x-ray equipment, handpieces and cutting instruments. In 1993, GENDEX merged with Dentsply International, Inc. where John served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until 1995. He was later recruited to serve as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Newell Rubbermaid, where he grew the company's worldwide sales to more than $7 billion per year. John is a former member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council and the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRFI). He is also the founding chair of JDRF's Beta Society and currently co-chairs JDRFI's Research Partnership Program: "Closing In On A Cure." Ed McDonough - Chief Executive Officer Ed brings nearly 20 years of imaging technology experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to co-founding McDonough Medical in 2001, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of GENDEX Corporation, the leading U.S. manufacturer and distributor of dental x-ray equipment, handpieces and cutting instruments. Under the McDonough family's leadership, GENDEX sales grew from approximately $8 million in 1983 to nearly $160 million at the time of the company's merger with Dentsply International, Inc. in 1993. In June 2001, Ed co-founded and became CEO of McDonough Medical Products Corporation. Under his leadership, the corporation acquired NAI Tech Products in July 2001. Ed currently serves on the Board of the Chicago Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRFI). He also serves on the Board of the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Mark Greenwood - Executive Vice President Mark Greenwood brings years of operations, manufacturing and financial experience to his role as Executive Vice President of McDonough Medical Products Corporation. He is a key contributor in the Corporation's strategic and financial direction and also has oversight responsibility for NAI Tech Products, a wholly-owned subsidiary located in Auburn, CA. NAI Tech Products is a market leader in DICOM connectivity products in the medical imaging market. In 1994 Mark and CEO Ed McDonough co-founded Progeny, Inc. where Mark served as President until February 2006 when he assumed his current position. He was an instrumental part of Progeny's entry into the dental x-ray market in 2002, and in the development of high quality intraoral x-ray systems. Progeny is currently the U.S. market share leader in the manufacture and sale of I/O x-ray systems. Prior to co-founding Progeny, Mark held several management positions at Gendex Corporation, a leading provider of dental and medical products. Ultimately as Vice President of Operations, Mark was responsible for engineering, manufacturing, and quality for three of Gendex's operating divisions. Mark is a graduate of Stanford University and served seven years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He lives with his family outside Sacramento, California where his wife Deborah is a Diabetes Educator. John MacLennan - Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing A 20-year veteran of the diagnostic imaging market, John heads the sales and marketing efforts for McDonough Medical. Previously, he held several executive posts with Hologic, Inc., a leading provider of specialized medical imaging equipment for women's health and digital radiographic applications. From 1997 until early 2001, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Fluoroscan Imaging, a division of Hologic. In April 2001, he assumed the additional responsibility of Vice President and General Manager of Hologic Systems and later that year, the Hologic Digital Radiographic Systems division was also placed under his purview. In 1990, Mr. MacLennan joined the medical division of GENDEX, the leading manufacturer and distributor of dental X-ray equipment, hand pieces and cutting instruments, as Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He served in this capacity until a 1995 promotion to Vice President and General Manager. |
